POST 2: My Life Soundtrack

When I was a little kid, I was very related to American or British bands because my mum was an English teacher, so my playlist had all music in English. We both listened to and sang a lot of very popular songs of the 80s and 90s. Bon Jovi was one of the bands that left a mark on my childhood. It was my mom's favorite band and we were very close to go to the concert that they had in Chile, in 2013, when I was in sixth grade. Sadly we couldn't go but we still supported them. AC DC, Metallica and Pink Floyd were also bands that I used to listen to in the car because of my stepfather. He's such a fan of  rock music and he also plays the electric guitar every week in his break times. My family got separated and with the passing of the years, I left slowly the passion and connection with the English language and I got closer to Latin music. To have nothing of Spanish music in my cell phone, I exploded it with reggaeton songs. This is the music that came to my teenage years and I used to listen in every mood of the day, since I do my homework until I walk in the street. I usually associate it with the best parties that I went in those years and they remind me the happiest moments with my friends, something that I appreciate and keep with all my love. Classics of reggaeton are music that people of my age used to enjoy and we are glad that we have grown up with them.
